Hi there Park Visitors,
We are keen to hear from you from an Industry perspective on your experiences in regards to towing as a driver or fellow road user. As we are passionate about training and development in the Industry in general, we are looking to hear what you believe the deficiencies in the every day consumer's towing skills are. How do you believe these deficiencies should be addressed? This consultation will support our preferred training Partner, Australian Driving Institute in their commitment to industry engagement relating to the act of towing and towing training. We ask you to keep emotion out of your responses and keep it professional with no profanity in any passionate reponses. We really appreciate your assistance.

Having a variety of truck licences etc, I am stunned to date; no endorsement is required to tow a caravan or boat. I feel there is some room for the typical 6x4 with minimal loading, and no endorsement; but when weight is pushing 3 tones, and around 3 meters long. This significantly changes the driving experience. With no training, a novice caravaner is an accident waiting to happen. And a side not to all WRT van’s. trucks, 4x4’s. If you are not able to, or wanting to pass the guy in front, please leave enough room for others to pass, by giving room between you and the vesical you are following, for others to pull in front of you.
